Product Introduction

1,4-Butanediol (BDO) is a high-purity aliphatic diol and an important basic fine chemical raw material. It is a colorless, viscous liquid with good water solubility, chemical stability and reactivity.

BDO is a core upstream material for the polyurethane, textile, new energy and plastic industries. It is mainly used to produce tetrahydrofuran (THF), PTMEG, PBT engineering plastics, γ-Butyrolactone (GBL) and N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP). It is widely applied in spandex fiber, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), biodegradable materials, lithium battery solvents, coatings, adhesives and pharmaceutical intermediates.
